    Abt Associates seeks a qualified Analyst to support the Division of Health and Environment at our office in Atlanta, GA. Work will be in the CDC with a research and evaluation focus.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • Support a project team in the collection of public health research data.
    • Collect, compile, validate, interpret and analyze data and trends using REDCap, SAS, R, and similar software.
    • Harmonize data across multiple sources.
    • Contribute to the development of research protocols, data collection instruments, and IRB packages.
    • Manage communication among multiple research partners.
    • Attend client meetings and synthesize meeting content.
    • Coordinate project timeline to ensure key milestones are met.
    • Assist in developing trainings, standard operating procedures, data quality management plans, and other project documents.
    • Conduct review and quality control of data collection instruments in REDCap.
    • Participate in business development activities by managing proposals, contributing technical content, and/or supporting production and submission.
    • Work on assignments that are moderately complex under indirect supervision where there is latitude for independent action and decision-making.
    • May manage project tasks, delegating and reviewing work for accuracy, and quality

    Preferred Skills / Prerequisites

    • Proficiency in REDCap programming, data entry, and database management
    • Data management expertise using SAS and/or Stata and R
    • Writing ability
    • Project management

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BA/BS (3 - 5) OR MA/MBA (Entry Level) years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience
