Role Summary:The Communications Manager will create and execute communications strategies for programs across Supply Chain. A key business partner which keeps stakeholders well-informed to help achieve business objectives.
Partner with business leadership to ensure successful internal communications
Ensure employee engagement and strong connectivity to business strategy and culture
Analyze and design a communications strategy to recommend new channels, methods and ideas to improve employment engagement
Advise leaders regarding projects, processes and procedures requiring communications
Partner with internal communications team to accomplish key priorities including culture, strategy and change management efforts
Communicate with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered
Provide ad hoc support on external communications
Operate as a respected business partner, driving strategic programs, providing valuable advice and appropriate pushback
Direct management of team of two professional communicators
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Communications)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Internal/Employee Communications
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to cut through with a succinct, modern communication style
Demonstrated ability to create content; strong storytelling abilities and clear ability to turn complex ideas into simple messages
Strong digital and social storytelling and engagement experience
Complex organizational and cultural change management experience
Capacity to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders navigating conflicting opinions & priorities and developing consensus
Experience working with creative partners and agencies externally
Ability to assess content/programming success using data and analytics
Ability to build credibility quickly and become a sought-after resource for communications advice and counsel
Creative, proactive and enthusiastic; willing to take smart risks and lead initiatives with confidence
Detail-oriented, highly organized, fiercely committed to quality, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
