Field Service Technician
JOB SUMMARY:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for implementation of field service activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Provide onsite / test facility field service as scheduled by the Field Service Manager.
* Be qualified in accordance with QCI-2800 – Indoctrination, Training and Qualification of Personnel.
* Be qualified for mechanical inspection.
* Maintenance of Field Service, tooling, and literature.
* Prepare field service reports as required for field service activities.
* Prepare monthly parts usage log.
* Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
* Knowledge of products and industry requirements
* Product application and training as required
* Familiar with machine shop practices
* Experience with welding procedure and practices
* Familiar with LPI procedure and practices
* Good communication skills.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
* High School level or 2 year Associate Degree in engineering or technical discipline with 2-3 years experience or 9+ years combination of specialized training and experience.
* Nine years of valve and/or power plant experience.
* Working knowledge of applicable ASME and other codes preferred.
* Computer literacy preferred.
* Power Plant Systems training
