Patient Care Technician

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician works under the supervision of the clinical team and performs duties and direct technical care, requiring knowledge of basic patient care principles and medical terminology.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma/GED.

• Current American Heart Association BLS for the Health Care Professional.

• Basic Computer Skills, Time Management, Communication Proficiency, 12 lead EKG, venipuncture, IV starts: These skills require an annual competency.

• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance from team members when necessary.

• Current AZ CNA or EMT certificate or have completed 3 blocks of nursing school.
