Lead Stylist - Fashion
|
Job Scope: Helps to create the concept/ vision/image of product lines or carries out vision of vendor/guest
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Report recaps of shows on a daily basis.
* Maintains good professional working relationship with vendors/guests.
* Communicates with Producers and review flow sheets prior to airtime and suggests changes based on presentation.
* Directs models during live show (headset contact with producer etc.).
* Keep wardrobe area neat and organized.
* Preps clothing as needed (ironing etc.).
* Attends pre-pro meetings for high profile events.
* Manages inventory given and consigns products according to show needs.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
* 1-2 years of fashion retail or visual retail experience (including school work).
* Experience in runway coordination, visual merchandising or fashion styling preferred.
* Style for multiple departments w/in HSN that require fashion styling.
* Must be able to communicate and direct models the look needed for each show (hair, makeup, etc.)
* Must meet level of styling expectation required as it relates to overall company brand.
* Consistently meet styling expectation as it relates to overall company brand.
* Exhibits exceptional communication skills with co-workers and cross departmental constituents.
* Delivers and executes shows on time. (models on set on time, provides cross departments with needed information in a timely manner).
* Develops and maintains good relationships with vendors/ guests.
* Degree in Fashion Design or Related degree OR Equivalent work experience.
* Have a sense of fashion style and an ability to develop "looks" compatible with the HSN shopper.
* Basic wardrobe and styling skills.
* Has basic sewing skills and ability to make quick alterations if needed.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Must be able to build and maintain good working relationships with a diverse group of individuals and personalities.
* Detail-oriented.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Works either individually or as part of a team.
* Must be able to comprehend, read, learn, and understand instruction both written and oral.
* Must have the ability to adapt creative styling to fit HSN business needs.
