Job Profile Summary:
BP Lubricants blends, packages, and distributes approximately 300M litres of lubricants under agreements with various third party manufacturing/distribution locations throughout the Americas. The scope of these relationships vary greatly from site to
site from purchases of branded materials to direct control of daily packaging line scheduling and quality control compliance.
The incumbent is responsible to manage the overall performance and execution of operations at assigned third party manufacturing sites, to ensure delivery of Castrol's supply chain short and long-term performance objectives. Critical responsibilities include leading a cross functional external and internal team to resolve product supply issues and drive overall site performance results, including achievement of monthly plan attainment goals, identifying and delivering cost and continuous improvement progress to lower total cost of ownership.

Identify and develop key strategies related to best practice as it pertains to 3P Site management; take a leading role in opportunities to maximize value
Ensure Third Party's compliance to BP HSSE, Quality, Service, Cost, and Contractual requirements
Lead performance monitoring, development and use of various tools (RCCP, KPI Monthly Metrics, PIP, QSI, etc.), and actively work with the Third party sites to maintain quality, manage risks, correct deviations, and align capabilities with BP ways of working, GSC strategies, and environmental conditions.
Engage Central Planning to align on production and distribution capabilities and expectation; drive 3P delivery of these commitments
Responsible for the flow of materials through the Third Party sites from inventory levels, purchasing materials, production planning to the final release of goods to the customers to achieve expected Customer Service (IFOT) within Working Capital and Budget guidelines
Drive inventory target and working capital adherence, and ensure adherence to system and business processes
Resolve disputes between Third Party and associated entities (BP, approved vendors, customers, logistics), and implement long term processes to minimize these occurrences.
Responsible for maintaining effective working relationships with the Third Party sites and alignment on changes in both directions on forecasts, capabilities, supply disruptions, specifications/standards, approved vendors/blanket orders, product launches, and initiatives supported with MOC's
Drive continuous improvements through refining processes, developing effective relationships, and implementing best practices
Ensure accuracy of BP systems (JDE inventory and transactions; Lotus Notes, and Fusion) and alignment with Third Party's operating systems
Lead strategic projects including: product launches, vendor start up, site rationalization, and technical changes. This position is a key contributor or lead for strategic supply chain initiatives, reducing complexity and options for delivering the least cost-to serve third party manufacturing strategy
Engage BP resources on the Third Party's behalf to support local operations: IT access/connectivity to BP systems;
Procurement to resolve vendor disruptions; GLT with respect to quality incidents
Provide assurance on data and transactional integrity
Scope of remit will go beyond direct site ownership, and extend to oversight, development, and coaching of other facilitators and their sites.
Bachelor Degree (preferably Business administration, Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics or related discipline), or equivalent
experience in Supply Network Planning, operations or Manufacturing
Essential experience and job requirements
Minimum of five years of experience in Supply Network Planning/Operations or Manufacturing (consumer goods, supplier relationships, or materials/production planning).
Demonstrated effectiveness at completing audits, executing root cause analysis, conflict resolution, and developing continuous improvements;
Strong knowledge of best practices in supply chain management, plant operations, budgeting and supplier relationships;
Broad understanding of manufacturing processes, planning, logistics, and vendor relationships
Demonstrated ability to work well under sustained pressure with conflicting demands, optimizing resources and responding to fast changing circumstances
Desirable criteria and qualifications
SAP or similar ERP system knowledge
Knowledge of business reporting tools, such as BW or SAP Business Objects
Manufacturing plant experience
Demonstrated experience with cross functional supply chain partners
Experience in consumer products or similar fast moving industry, in either production or supply chain
Ability to successfully lead indirect reports and cross functional teams to achieve stretch goals
APICS of CSCMP certification
