The Big Four firms have yet another reason to celebrate. Capgemini won the Customer Experience Award in the Banker Technology Awards 2006. The tribute is paid to honor Capgemini's exceptionally successful project CRM at the Czech Savings Bank. The award ceremony took place at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, London, on June 8, 2006. The CRM project concerned a major program of commerce and IT transformation that has altered the customer experience by placing client focus at the hub of the bank's policy and process. The process and technology of around 8000 sales and service personnel at the bank's 650 branches also underwent a change. John J. (Jack) Stack, CEO of the bank said - "CRM has given birth to a new way of doing business at Czech Savings Bank. It has brought us into the 21st century, and we count on CRM to help us achieve our business targets." Dieter Harreither is the Head of CRM Consulting for Capgemini Central & Eastern Europe, who led the team that carried out this renowned project in collaboration with Czech Savings Bank. He proudly feels that 'CRM is revolutionizing the retail banking scene worldwide and we are proud to be prime movers in that revolution. I warmly congratulate the Czech Savings Bank and my own team on their well deserved victory in these important awards." The judges of the Banker awards felt that Capgemini has shown remarkable display of talents in pulling together the CRM solution with components from a number of vendors representing the largest investment in IT and business transformation. The judges feel that the "holistic strategy, taking into account both operational and technology changes, appears to have paid off, giving clear advantages that translate into increased profitability, brand awareness and reduced call answering times for customer service." With the Banker Technology Award 2006, Capgemini added another feather to its cap. With this award, Capgemini gives the Big Four firms yet another reason to celebrate its endeavor for quality and consistency in projects. -Article provide by Big4.com
