Accounting Clerk

Description

We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk with HR and AP experience in Sugarland, Texas. This role is based in the Accounting sector, with a focus Human Resources and Accounts Payable

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Perform account reconciliation tasks as needed

• Handle accounts payable and receivable duties

• Perform data entry tasks and process invoices

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks

• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding credit and collections.

Requirements

• Proficient in account reconciliation

• Experience in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated ability to handle billing and invoice processing tasks

• Proficiency in data entry

• Previous experience in an accounting clerk role or similar

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organization skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
