?Hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Newport Beach!
Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of AP experience
Strong communication abilities
Experience working with a large ERP system
Experience with Excel
High volume AP processing experience
3 way match experience preferred
Manage Multiple Locations with other AP Specialists and AP Manager
Manually Manage AP inbox daily
Ensure bills are getting into Chase360.
Respond to internal/external emails.
Reconcile Vendor AR Aging to our vendor payable balance.
Help review New & Updated Vendor Documentation for AP Manager
Move email to correct folder.
Use Boomerang to follow up on emails.
Processing Bills accurately
Ensure correct bill is attached.
Any additional backup attached.
Ensure proper general ledger coding of invoices.
Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
Establish a good working relationship with employees.
Establishing a good working relationship with vendors.
Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors and invoice or payment discrepancies.
Ensure check requests and employee Expense Reports are supported with proper documentation (i.e., invoice, receipts, etc.)
Ensure all online invoices are downloaded so that there are no late payments.
Filing paperwork property whether in a filing system, or in our system.
Assist with W9's and 1099s to ensure proper tax reporting.
Keep informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
