  • Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facility in Amherst MA who is currently seeking Skills Trainers to assist them at their Independent Living Facility.

    Details of the position include:

    Location: Amherst, MA

    Duration: 13 weeks to start, but strong chance of extension

    Facility Type: Independent Living Facility

    Openings

    • 8a-6p Mon-Fri

    Start Date: Two weeks from offer

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    • Provide an Orientation and training to the PCAProgram to each Consumer.

    • To submit all appropriate documentation ontimely basis necessary for the services and following up with their status asdirected by Skills Trainer Coordinator.

    • To be responsive to consumer's regarding theirstatus and subsequent needs in order to successfully maintain their PCAprogram.

    • Identify if additional services are beneficialto the consumer and make appropriate referrals - internal and external.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or GED required

    • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.

    • Ability to establish and maintain positive professional business relationships with the branch level leadership and office staff.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • Experience with Microsoft office required.
