    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establish work priorities to assist the lead.

    • Insure work performed adheres to high quality standards.

    • Able to use FAA approved date (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM, ~~~, ~~~) proficiently.

    • Able to perform heavy maintenance tasks without supervision.

    • All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • High School Diploma/GED required.

    • Tech school student or graduate in sheet metal is a plus.

    • Must have a minimum of 1 year related aviation sheet metal experience and/or training.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Constantly: Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions.

    • Frequently: Lifting =40 lbs., push/pull <20 lbs., climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling for extended periods, working in confined spaces. Working above chest-level, overhead, and away from body for extended periods. Bending, twisting of torso, twisting and/or pressure with wrist/hands, fine finger usage, moderate vibrations up to 2 hrs. to high vibrations up to 30 mins. Vision with/without correction; near <20", far >20', and basic depth perception (shapes). Working at elevated heights =4', working on ladders, scaffolding, uneven surfaces, and energized parts.

    • Occasionally: Lifting and/or carry =50 lbs., sitting, basic color vision, operation of motorized or electrical equipment, push/pull <50 lbs., work in wet conditions.
