Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Marriage and Family Counselor to provide professional counseling services designedin assisting participants in behavior changeto maintain a healthylifestyle and quality of life through individual and group therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Provides professional counseling services to patientsand their families

• May counsel and teacher behaviorchange, stress management, and other programclasses, which assistthe participants in achieving, prescribed objectives. Administer, interpret and assess the results of related programadministered assessment tests.

• Assist withthe development of mind/body programming into wellness program, i.e. cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, weight management.

• Provide education to patients and families related to issues that impact patient car

• Conduct lectures and participates in community outreachactivities. Identify concerns and make referrals to other specialists when needed.

• Provide guidance and coaching to staff membersworking with clientsas needed.

• Adheres to Company and worksite rules,policies and procedures

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, usuallyin counseling, psychology, social work or related fieldpreferred

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work,Family Therapy preferred.

• Licensed as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)as required by stateregulations and/or contractspecifications.

• One (1) year of experience in counseling preferred.

• Successfulcompletion of testing process

• Currentphysical exam, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

• CurrentTB test or chest x-ray
