Position Overview:

• Role: Metal Bonders or Composite Bonders

• Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract

• Location: El Segundo, CA 90245

• Schedule: Onsite, 9x80 (every other Friday off)

• Pay Rate: $24.89 - $31.08 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Bond a variety of materials including composite, metal, or laminate for assemblies, parts, skins, components, equipment, or structures.

• Precisely lay out articles and cut materials to specified sizes.

• Apply liquid or solid bonding agents effectively.

• Operate equipment like autoclaves, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete the bonding cycle, ensuring adherence to specifications.

• Control heat, pressure, and timing by setting and operating various controls as per material and bonding agent specifications.

• Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, burring, and smoothing over areas, and applying sealing resins to exposed edges.

• Conduct quality monitoring and verification of the final product.

• Complete repairs on bonded products made of composite, metal, or laminate, following inspection and rework instructions.

Pay Details: $24.89 to $31.08 per hour
