Civil Engineering Branch Manager

Description

• Seeking a qualified Civil Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Surveyor (PS) to oversee the engineering operations of a small office.

• Main responsibilities include project management, business development, client interactions, and staff oversight.

• This individual will be overseeing the work of various disciplines, which may include site design, bidding, permitting and construction phase services for development projects in the municipal, institutional, industrial, commercial, residential and utilities/energy markets; stormwater planning, design, and construction phase services for collection and conveyance infrastructure attendant with main-street municipal, residential, commercial, and greenfield site development projects.

• A great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing market within a reputable civil engineering firm. Will be able to work independently but will have the support of other branches within the company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Surveyor (PS) license highly preferred (will consider an experienced EIT close to receiving a PE)

-Experience within one or more of the following: site development, water/ wastewater, stormwater, environmental or survey

-Strong knowledge of Ohio permitting and regulations

-Experience managing staff and project schedules preferred

-Ability to obtain new clients and grow market share

-Ability to effectively manage employees and manage workload
