Cnc Machinist

Description:

• Setting up and operating a cnc machines

• Responsible for using mics and calipers to measure parts

• Pulls and sets up tooling, have live tooling in lathe machines

• Facility has 1 horizontal mill

• Measuring products, holding high tolerances, short runs with new setups everyday and over 5,000 part numbers that they can run

• Parts could be plastic, fiberglass, steel, stainless

• Some production runs but mostly job shop (needs to be comfortable running different pieces daily)

• Fanuc controls
