Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in the aerospace industry, located in Long Beach, California. This role involves designing and administering competitive compensation and benefits programs, aligning them with organizational goals and industry standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders across the company, analyze market trends, develop salary structures, and optimize compensation strategies.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of compensation and benefits programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry standards
Research and evaluate market trends, competitive benchmarking data, and industry best practices to inform compensation decisions
Design and implement salary structures, incentive plans, and other compensation-related programs to attract and retain high-caliber talent
Collaborate with HR business partners, finance, and other departments to develop and administer compensation policies and procedures
Work with talent acquisition teams to develop competitive offer packages and ensure equity and consistency in compensation practices
Provide expertise and guidance to managers and employees on compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, salary negotiations, and performance incentives
Conduct regular audits and analyses of compensation data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of compensation programs
Stay current with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry trends affecting compensation and benefits practices in the aerospace industry
Effectively use ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, HRMS, About Time, Benefit Functions, Claim Administration, Compensation Administration, Compliance, and Compensation Analysis tools. Requirements - Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
Familiarity with HRMS and About Time software
Experience in using Ceridian and Dayforce
Solid understanding of Benefit Functions and Claim Administration
Expertise in Compensation Administration and Compliance
Proven experience in Compensation Analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Relevant certification or degree in human resources or related field
