Concrete Carpenter/Finisher

Position Overview:

As a Concrete Laborer/Finisher, you will be an essential part of our construction team, responsible for smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete. You will also prepare surfaces, repair older projects, and ensure that all tasks meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Smooth out concrete in segments to ensure the concrete poured is level.

• Finish the top surface of freshly poured concrete on floors, walls, ceilings, or sidewalks.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools to fill voids and create a finished surface.

• Apply sealing and hardening components to cure surfaces.

• Follow blueprints and read schematics to determine work requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a concrete laborer/finisher.

• Must be able to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods and handle heavy materials.

• Ability to monitor and ensure the high-quality finish of all concrete jobs.

• Ability to work effectively with a team and communicate with supervisors and peers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven track record of reliability and good workmanship.

• Must adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear.
