  • Description

    The Controller is responsible for the accounting operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and implementing processes in the accounting department while collaborating with senior leadership and stakeholders.

    • Oversees operations and improvements in processes and establishes internal controls of the accounting department.

    • Lead integration of accounting for acquisition activity including GAAP conversion, systems, and processes.

    • Provides leadership to the accounting team to ensure the success and needs of the company are met.

    • Supports the growth initiatives of the company by developing processes and providing insight to drive performance.

    • Assist with annual budgets and monthly forecast

    • Assist with cash flow reports

    • Ensure compliance of GAAP Principles.

    • Oversee AP and AR to ensure payments and receivables are paid and collected promptly and on time.

    • Maintain system on accounting policies and procedures

    • Reconcile general ledger, prepare journal entries and complete consolidated month-end.

    • Work with external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process to ensure timely completion and compliance.

    • Assist with implementation activities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field

    • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management

    • Experience working in a private equity environment

    • Strong technical accounting experience and GAAP

    • Experience managing audits and compliance with regulatory requirements

    • Proven ability to manage process improvements and enhance efficiencies in the accounting department
