Custodial Worker

Shift Times:

MUST WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS (will have two days off during the week).

2nd shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM, $20.00

3rd shift: 11:00PM - 7:30AM, $21.50

Description:

Cleaning patient rooms - taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, sweeping, disinfecting around the room

Cleaning in high and low areas

Cleaning in administrative offices - wiping down, taking out task, sweeping and mopping

Cleaning hallways - sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, disinfecting, and other duties may be assigned

Removing dirty linens and replacing with new ones

Collects/stores/transports biohazardous waste

Stocking carts with cleaning supplies needed for that shift

Making sure that supply closet is stocked

May clean up urine, blood, feces, and other things that you would see in a hospital

Adhering to PPE guidelines

Interacting with patients, visitors and staff

Must be able to fully understand and speak English

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. consecutively

Must be okay with being on their feet all day long

Must be comfortable working within hospital environment

Prior janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, EVS experience
