    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. The IT Cybersecurity Specialist will play a crucial role in protecting our organization's information systems and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats, including malware, ransomware, phishing, and other malicious activities.

    • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the organization's IT infrastructure, applications, and processes.

    • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

    • Monitor security logs and alerts generated by security monitoring tools, investigating and responding to security incidents in a timely manner.

    • Configure and manage security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.

    • Conduct security awareness training and education programs for end-users to promote cybersecurity best practices and reduce the risk of human error.

    • Collaborate with other members of the IT team to design and implement secure network architectures, encryption protocols, and access controls.

    • Participate in incident response and forensic investigations, documenting findings and recommendations for remediation and improvement.

    • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, participating in professional development activities and training to maintain expertise in cybersecurity.

    • Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users on cybersecurity-related matters, assisting with incident response, risk assessments, and security compliance efforts.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a cybersecurity specialist, cybersecurity analyst, or similar role, with a strong background in information security and risk management.

    • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices, including secure network architecture, encryption, authentication, and access control.

    • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, SIEM solutions, and vulnerability management tools.

    • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders, vendors, and team members.

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.

    • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) are desirable but not required.
