Director of Global Strategic Sourcing

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Strategic Sourcing Director with a strong background in IC, PCBA and semiconductor related industries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and 5 years of management experience.

Job Duties

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for materials and components to support the business objectives of the company

Manage the US, Taiwan and China sites for sourcing

Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage supplier relationships

Ensure quality standards and delivery schedules are met by suppliers

Work with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize the supply chain

Work with contract manufacturers to ensure they meet company requirements

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and best practices

Skills and Requirements

Experience

Strong Sourcing background, with a minimum of 10 years' experience

Management of multi-country teams

Bilingual English and Mandarin

Experience in electronics manufacturing or semiconductor industry is required.

Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (5%-15%) APICS CSCP is a plus null
