  • Join our dynamic Planning & Analysis Group and play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of a leading financial institution. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with top industry professionals and contribute to the strategic re-design of CCAR processes.

    As a Senior Associate in the Corporate & Investment Bank - Finance & Business Management, you will play a crucial role in the strategic re-design of CCAR processes and enhancing execution of specific models. You will be part of a collaborative team, focusing on financial planning, capital and stress testing, and partnering closely with Line of Business teams and functions. This opportunity allows you to contribute to the overall Capital Stress Testing program and promote process improvements within the organization.

    Job responsibilities

    • Contribute to the overall Capital Stress Testing (CCAR) program for the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB)

    • Analysis and consolidation of budget, forecast, CCAR and risk appetite results and perform variance analysis while reviewing and challenging model outputs and results

    • Analysis of macroeconomic variables and understanding the impact to financial projections

    • Own and push regulatory reporting requirements, review process narratives and support the preparation of materials for senior management

    • Partner closely with the other CIB Line of business (LOB) P&A teams, firmwide P&A, CIB and Corporate Controllers, CIB and Corporate Risk Management, Corporate Capital Stress Testing, CIB Finance, and CIB Control Management as needed

    • Push efficiencies and process improvements and be involved in driving technology initiatives

    • Ensure data integrity, accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting and presentations

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • 6+ years of experience in a large financial institution or consulting firm

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance

    • Experience in planning, forecasting, budgeting, regulatory reporting

    • Understanding of bank balance sheet and income statement

    • Working knowledge of Corporate and Investment Banking products and the financial market, with the ability to grasp technical details

    • Ability to work across senior levels of the organization

    • Ability to communicate insights and messages clearly both verbally and in written format - ability to synthesize financial information into concise, insightful and actionable recommendations comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management

    • Exceptional attention to detail related to providing accurate and timely data
