We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proof of forklift certification (expired certifications are accepted), demonstrate a commitment to safety and proficiency in operating both sitdown and reach truck forklifts. If you are detail-oriented, experienced, and possess the necessary certification even if it is expired, we invite you to for this exciting opportunity.

salary: $18.5 - $20 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities

Forklift Operation

• Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials within the facility.

• Load and unload goods from trucks or other vehicles with precision and care.

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating the forklift.

• Conduct pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on the forklift to ensure its proper functioning.

Certification Verification

• Provide proof of forklift certification.

• Demonstrate proficiency in forklift operation during the evaluation process.

Material Handling

• Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse or storage area.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient material flow and storage.

• Picking and packing orders.

Communication

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory, tasks, and any potential safety concerns.

The essential functions of this role include

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
