Pineland Farms is one of the largest food manufacturing organizations located in Aroostook County. Our Mars Hill facility has over 200 incredible team members who work together to provide our customers with the best possible potato product. Responsibilities The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving materials to and from proper storage areas by operating a small industrial vehicle. Drive forklift in a safe and productive manner. Complete the daily forklift inspection and remove the lift from service if a defect is detected. Ship and receive product damage free and accurately by completing the Quality Reassurance Checks. Complete all documents and paperwork completely and accurately. Fill customer orders accurately and follow the customer's special instructions. Ensure warehouse is organized, clean, damages are taken care of and pallets are off the floor and placed into bins. Promote teamwork within your team and between teams by communicating in a positive and pleasant manner. Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D or an equivalent combination of education and experience The successful completion of Powered Industrial Truck training program and pass the forklift certification. Effectively read, write and speak English. Strong math and configuration is necessary Ability to analyze situations and make the best decision which benefits the company without jeopardizing the health and well-being of the employee.
