Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate

Our client, a food industry company is seeking a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong forklift background, ability to do heavy lifting and sort raw materials which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate

Temp-Perm Opportunity

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: 18.00/hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday- Must be able to work varying am shifts:

5am-1pm or 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm- Depending on which building the associate will be asked to work in

What's the Job?

• Responsible for loading and unloading trailers with a forklift or other powered, and non-powered equipment.

• Accurate customer order selection and receiving finished goods and raw materials.

• Responsible for sorting and segregating raw materials weighing from 20 to 100 lbs., as they are received

• Complete unloading/inspection paperwork for all items received.

• Orders are picked, sorted and segregated depending on customer requirements. This involves lifting items weighing 10 to 55 lbs. repeatedly.

• Experience in food production/manufacturing a plus
