Hardware Server Technician

Description

Most of the work will be on servers that either a new design or servers that are failing in the field and need to be sent back for testing and repair.

What You'll Do:

• Build, debug, test, repair, and upgrade computer prototypes (computers, servers, peripherals, programs, and software/firmware)

• Assist engineers in the evaluation of new electronic components.

• Document prototype construction and maintain pertinent engineering records.

• Comprehend and follow procedures and various technical documents.

• Perform Lab Management responsibilities to maintain and organize a clean and efficient lab.

• Materials management to inventory/track/ship materials

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years working on servers or testing internal components
