Ic Design Engineer

Actalent Services is currently seeking an IC Design Engineer to join our clients' team within the Newport beach area.

Description

The Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer will design Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC) for Battery Management and Automotive. The IC Design Engineer will design CMOS/BCD power management circuits and work with marketing/product definition teams to define specifications. The PMIC Engineer will guide the layout of circuit blocks for high voltage circuits and take ownership for the full silicon design lifecycle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BS Electronic Engineering (MS or PhD preferred) with 10+ years of relevant experience

Automotive experience is a plus

Cadence or similar IC Design tool

Good knowledge of voltage regulator designs

Good knowledge of LDOs, band gaps, bias, op-amps, switched-cap circuits

Good knowledge of DACs, ADCs, oscillators, temperature sensors
