  • Job Description

    The Material Planner is responsible for establishing and executing a set manufacturing plan for one or more programs. Ensures material is forecasted, ordered, and available on time to meet the build plan. The planner is responsible for releasing work to the manufacturing floor for build, maintains ship dates and customer commitments while working with other support staff to execute the plan. The planner must monitor cost, quality, schedule of programs to meet the goals set by the business.

    Communication across multiple business functions is required, including but not limited to Finance, Program offices, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

    Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.

    This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree Manufacturing Engineering or Business-related field, and 4 years work experience in Manufacturing environment

    • Oracle experience is a plus

    • Scheduling and MRP experience is a plus

    • Experience working with development programs where design changes are common.

    Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
