    National Sales Director, Regional Accounts, this role is responsible for leading a team of 8 regional sales managers, who are responsible for leading a team of 8-12 territory managers. This individual will be responsible for elevating the culture and leading the team to drive results in the Arestin buy-and-bill and Rx channels for the OraPharma flagship brand, Arestin with additional buy-and-bill product responsibilities.

    Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to

    • Lead, manage, coach, and empower (8) Regional Sales Managers to directly impact the (70) Territory Managers to drive growth and achieve sales targets.

    • Oversee the execution of the promoted brand strategies.

    • Lead the process and development of the regional account business planning.

    • Collaborate with all internal stakeholders (marketing, operations, etc...) to execute strategy and provide meaningful insights to shape organizational current/future growth plans.

    • Provide analysis, insight, and direction on strategic priorities to meet revenue goals for all promoted brands.

    • Oversee local market strategies and plans to provide optimal outcomes for business growth.

    • Create high performing organization through the facilitation of performance management process, coaching and mentoring.

    • Ensure all deliverables of the regional account team are executed in a compliant manner, in accordance with all Bausch Health policies and procedures.

    • Recruit qualified talent and develops high potential employees.

    • Maintain current knowledge of market and competitive trends.

    • Conduct quarterly business reviews with regional managers to ensure business results and personal development standards are achieved.

    • Lead aggregated voice of customer efforts from team to cross-functional partners.

    Qualifications

    This role requires a strong leadership background in the dental, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry as well as a high level of analytical and conceptual ability to provide strategic focus to guide tactical execution. Concurrently, effective leadership of managers is required for bottoms up effectiveness at the RM/TM level.

    You will be proficient at uncovering customer-based insights and leveraging this knowledge to partner with stakeholders to develop and execute necessary strategies. Additional requirements include the ability to lead and ensure collaboration across multiple internal stakeholders.

    Experience/Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related discipline).

    • MBA or related Master's Degree preferred.

    • Second line leadership experience, managing managers is strongly preferred.

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Dental or Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry is required.

    • Previous experience in cross functional roles is preferred (operations, marketing, business analytics, etc...).

    • Demonstrated experience in leading strategy, leading people, and fostering collaboration.

    • Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans to achieve business results in a self-directed manner.

    • Ability to understand, uncover, and address customer needs.

    • Excellent quantitative abilities and excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).

    • Exceptional use of time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills.

    • Ability to work well across a matrix organization with strong collaboration skills to drive performance effectively and efficiently.

    • 50% travel is required.
