Operations Processor

Description We are looking for a diligent Operations Processor to join our team in the banking industry, specifically within the Savings & Loan sector. This role is based in Warwick, Rhode Island, 02886, United States. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Operations Processor, you will be responsible for coordinating various electronic banking activities, maintaining the quality control and improvements of new and existing accounts, and handling member inquiries effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electronic banking activities such as Member Service Electronic QC and Digital Delivery, ATM Terminals, ATM/Debit Cards, ACH transactions, wire transfers, EFT transactions, and mobile deposits.

• Maintain the quality control, servicing, and improvements of new and existing accounts.

• Handle member questions and assist with member inquiries in resolving electronic account-related problems.

• Investigate, resolve, and log all Reg E claims within the federal guidelines and process adjustments as necessary.

• Process credit union and verify member wire transfers and resolve related wire exceptions.

• Review, post, and reconcile daily ACH transactions, DBO transactions, and share draft transactions.

• Manage offsite ATMs, including cash ordering.

• Utilize skills in Data Processing, Microsoft Excel, Check Processing, Closing Processes, Credit, and Customer Service to perform tasks effectively. Requirements - Proven experience in data processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with check processing

• Familiarity with closing processes

• Understanding of credit principles

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Banking or financial industry experience would be advantageous
