    Principal Analyst, Sales Planning & Business Analysis

    Job Description:

    Play a key role in annual sales planning and forecasting monthly/annual/mid-term sales, coordinating and working closely with all sales regions, Operations/SCM, Customer Service and Finance/Accounting as well as Terumo Corporation (TC) and Terumo Americas Holdings (TAH). Perform meaningful analysis and reporting that enable sales execution, sales force effectiveness, and productivity. Develop and implement relevant and actionable analytics for global sales organization to drive sales growth and maximize revenue. Support company-wide BI initiatives and data warehouse rollout. Job duties:

    • Forecast worldwide sales by reviewing sales trends and working with Marketing and domestic/international sales teams.

    • Take a leading role in developing annual sales plans by analyzing sales trends, building spreadsheet models, and collaborating with Marketing/Sales/R&D/ Regulatory and Operations.

    • Lead the processes of entering or adjusting sales plans/forecasts in Hyperion, identifying/addressing technical or system-related issues and suggesting enhancements, changes, or updates to the application by closely working with the Terumo Americas IT team.

    • Drive the analysis of sales data to evaluate sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend objective and actionable insights to the global Sales Organization to efficiently execute business plans.

    • Support company-wide BI initiatives (Power BI) and data warehouse rollout. Address all future and unmet reporting needs for producing enterprise reports, scorecards, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis that result in improved sales productivity.

    • Manage updates of presentations for Board of Directors, Senior Sales Management, and other important strategic meetings. Represent the department as necessary at such meetings, briefings, etc.

    • Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.

    Qualifications:

    1. B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    2. Minimum ten (10) years of related work experience.

    3. Good understanding of Accounting and Corporate Finance principles.

    4. Creative thinking with ability to self-manage, take appropriate initiative, and drive for business positive outcomes.

    5. Experience in sales planning and sales operations.

    6. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Regulatory, R&D, Accounting/Finance, and IT across various regions.

    7. Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and BI application (Power BI or similar).

    Desired Qualifications

    1. Master of Business Administration (MBA) desirable.

    2. Hands-on business experience (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.) in the medical device industry and multi-location businesses a plus.

    3. Experience with Oracle/Hyperion Planning suite of solutions including EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service), Hyperion Planning and SmartView highly desirable.

    4. Expertise in developing reports, summaries, commentaries, and presentations.

    $93,000 - $130,000 (compensation can be higher based on Education, Experience and Skill Set)
