Principal Software Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to oversee the technical environment of our start up client in the Transportation + Logistics Industry as they integrate a first of its kind autonomous logistics product. The ideal candidate will have full stack technical capabilities, specific experience with Snowflake and Boomi data integrations, AWS Cloud Integration experience, and the ability to navigate a TMS. This role will grow in responsibility as the new digital asset is brought to market and will include people management responsibilities as well as strategic oversight for the technical organization. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Engineer capable of consulting their C levels and communicating cross functionally to drive vision and efficiency in their technical landscape. This role is full-time and hybrid 3 days a week in Denver, CO.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Full Stack Development

Ability to navigate Transport Management Systems (TMS) with a range of integrations.

Proficient in Data Integration using Snowflake and Boomi

Proficient in AWS Cloud Integration

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with logistics, transportation, or autonomous vehicle technologies.

Prior leadership experience + business acumen. null
