Project Engineer

Description

• Use of AutoCAD 2016 2d software, and adheres to company drafting standards. - 3d modeling skills and proficiency with, using either one or all three of the following: AutoCAD 2016 or Rhino 5. - Manages and uses time wisely. High importance given to deadlines and schedules. Meets or beats to the best of their ability important goal, milestone, and scheduled date commitments without fail. -Prepare material Take offs and works with the purchasing department. - Create Bills of Material, and release procurement using Made2Manage software. - Generate fabrication drawings, as well as DXF's for manufacturing. -Create a final set of shop drawings for installation to be supplied to the customer at the time of shipment, and provides Customer installation support as requested. - Works closely with estimated budget and quotes to minimize material

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Education BS in Engineering Experience 3-5+ years of experience within a sheet metal manufacturing/production environment, additional experience within architecture is preferred Experience with Autocad and Rhino Experience with sheet metal design using AutoCAD 2D/3D is preferred Experience creating products for architectural/construction projects Experience reviewing blueprints and drawings
