Psychiatrist Needed in Los Angeles

We're currently seeking Psychiatrists to fill a few openings with a correctional facility in Los Angeles, CA offering competitive pay, flexible schedules, and great work-life balance.

Details & Responsibilities -

• Competitive Pay

• 3+ Month Extendable Contract

• Flexible full-time or part-time schedules

• 8 or 10 hour shifts

• Full-time - 40 hours/week

• Part-time - 20 hours/week minimum

• Weekday or weekend shifts

• Start Date - ASAP

• Credentialing Estimate - 1 months

• Psychiatry. Provide initial and ongoing psychiatric assessments, group counseling, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other providers onsite.

• Charting. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in patient's health record.

• Take a leading role in the treatment of patients. Collaborate & work with other providers, nurses and medical assistants to ensure a high standard of care.

• Refer Patients. As needed, refer patients to off-site specialists.

• Approximately 10 PPD.

Required Qualifications -

• BC/BE with ABPN or osteopath equivalent

• Active/Unrestricted CA medical license

• DEA Registration

• BLS Certification
