    Our client north of Boston is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their growing team! This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a team oriented environment. Our client is very focused on working together to complete projects using cross collaboration between teams.

    Candidates that are interested in this role should come with at least 2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing, preferably in the Die Casting industry. Candidates should also come equipped with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Candidates will also need to have hands-on experience measuring with tools and gauges.     responsibilities

    • Provide assistance in maintaining and upholding the Quality Management System (QMS).

    • Conduct audits of processes and products.

    • Carry out initial inspections of newly produced pieces.

    • Assist in incoming inspection procedures and engage with suppliers regarding Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and related concerns.

    • Collaborate with engineers on ensuring quality assurance for new products and the development of appropriate procedures and quality standards.

    • Develop and revise Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs) and Control Plans as needed.

    • Aid in resolving customer-related quality issues.

    • Investigate reports of non-conformities and coordinate actions for correction and prevention.

    • Conduct internal audits and provide guidance to process owners to facilitate improvement.

    • Participate in teams focused on enhancing safety, quality, or cost efficiency.

    • Gather and analyze both internal and external quality data, and generate reports accordingly.
