Job Description (Short Summary of Role)

Safety Engineer - Regulatory Compliance - Permitting NL is responsible for: To Support Regulatory Compliance activities and team on a project related to the WABO permit application for NL projects.

Preferred Experience (software, language, specific knowledge or expertise)

Dutch Environmental permit application, regulatory compliance verification of emissions to air (e.g. Activiteitenbesluit/ omgevingswet),

BAT/BREF risk related to soil (NRB), PGS's, odor dispersion calculation, Flora & Fauna regulations, and preparation of the EIA report.

Non-negotiables (Minimum criteria that are required for hire, used to shortlist applications)

Process Safety knowledge and experience; Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or Environmental or in another relevant engineering discipline;

Preferable Permitting capabilities for complex multi-office projects. EPC(m) project experience.

Familiar with International and European and Dutch rules and regulations related to permitting and Safety Engineering.

Able to report in the Dutch Language to the Authorities.
