    Position Summary:

    Bio-Techne is seeking a full-time Research Associate to join our antibody conjugation scientist/production team. The main responsibility of this position is to support the manufacturing of conjugated antibodies that meet high quality specifications. This position will require routine performance of multiple, complex and repetitive tasks in a demanding commercial laboratory. Additional responsibilities include: production documentation, product aliquoting, capping and labeling, as well as performing additional general laboratory and documentation tasks as assigned. Candidates should be self-motivated, extremely organized, detail oriented, and comfortable with repetitive tasks. This is a fast-paced environment that requires an individual with drive, enthusiasm, and good time management skills.

    Base salary starting at $52,000 but with room and flexibility depending on experience

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform antibody conjugations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures within tight deadlines.

    • Document all production details and relevant information into a production database.

    • Provide support to technical services department by providing scientific feedback and performing additional testing to resolve customer problems.

    • Assist in product retrieval, aliquoting, capping and labeling.

    • Will work on goals centered around product line development.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    • This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or a related scientific discipline or equivalent. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Computer entry and/or typing skills are desirable.

    • Knowledge of general lab techniques.

    • Ability to handle repetitive complex tasks efficiently.

    • Attention to details and an ability to perform at a high-level accuracy.

    • Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner.

    • Ability to work independently and with a team.

    • Ability to act independently on routine assignments or projects.

    • Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written.
