    Job Description

    The Retirement Plan Manager is responsible for the assessment, administration, and overall compliance of Olympus' retirement benefit programs (401(k), defined benefit and non-qualified plans) including benefits education, training, communication and ensuring plan provisions are properly applied and followed. The position provides analytical and project management support for various retirement plan initiatives. The position is responsible for engaging with employees and HR team on advanced retirement related activities and inquires.

    Job Duties

    • Perform daily retirement plan administration activities and serve as SME for defined benefit, 401(k) and non-qualified plans.

    • Primary contact for retirement vendors.

    • Resolve complex issues with plan administrator, HRIS, finance, compensation, legal and/or payroll as needed.

    • Lead technical support for system/vendor accuracy and changes with third party administration vendor(s) and internal systems. Includes all testing and scoping of data/file requirements data validation and timely delivery.

    • Maintain awareness of new/existing laws; work with legal to implement plan amendments and restatements.

    • Lead miscellaneous retirement projects such as de-risking activities and plan mergers.

    • Provide support on overall benefit compliance activities including plan audits, non-discrimination testing, legal filings (5500s, PBGC, Annual Funding Notices, ACA .CAA).

    • Promote educational financial wellbeing webinars, onsite meetings. Develop internal communications on various benefit programs.

    • Participate in other benefits projects related to, vendor searches/implementations, benefit design reviews; complete cost benefit analysis as needed.

    Job Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Finance or Business Administration.

    • Advanced degree or professional certification (CEBS, CBP, QKA) preferred.

    • Minimum of 8 years of retirement benefit administration and compliance.

    • Experience with an outsourced benefits environment and a strong foundational understanding of HCM system configuration set-up and functionality.

    • SAP/ADP experience preferred.

    Preferred:

    • Knowledge and experience with benefits laws and regulations, including but not limited to ERISA and 409A.

    • Ability to interact with employees at all levels in a confidential professional manner.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.

    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Advanced Excel skills.
