Our esteemed client, a global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an Scientist to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

1. Independently execute testing protocols for biotherapeutic drug products characterization, ensuring timely sample preparation, analytical testing, and accurate data reporting with minimal supervision.

2. Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills for biophysical instruments.

3. Maintain meticulous documentation of experimental procedures and results in an electronic notebook system, adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

4. Collaborate effectively with other technical teams, communicating results clearly and coordinating with team members to manage the analytical workload efficiently.

5. Apply expertise in operating various biophysical instruments, including but not limited to AUC, CD, HIAC, DLS, DSC, FTIR, SEC-MALS, MFI, and Raman, to conduct phase-appropriate biophysical characterization of formulations.

6. Contribute to both early and late-stage formulation development efforts by applying biophysical analytical skills to assess product robustness and support formulation optimization.

Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.

2. Minimum of 1-2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a research or industrial setting, with strong analytical skills.

3. Recent research or industrial experience with biophysical and biochemical techniques for biotherapeutics characterization is required. Desired expertise includes familiarity with protein science, protein/peptide stability, and protein-protein interactions.

Location: Rahway, NJ

Pay: Up to 25 per hr

Schedule: 8-5, M-F
