    Insight Global is actively partnering with a client to identify a Sr. Engineer/Scientist to join their Environmental Services Division. This role will include a combination of technical support and project management to support multiple environmental based contracts within the federal and private sectors. Some of the federal land management agencies that the client works alongside include USFS, USDOI, BLM, and the NPS but there are also state, local, and commercial enterprises that they work with. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for:

    • Managing projects

    • Senior-level technical support for projects to include data analysis, calculations, and modeling

    • Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, schedules, proposals, work plans, and reports

    • Supporting environmental site investigations (such as water and soil sampling), remedial designs, and removal actions

    • Traveling to project sites across the country when needed

    Skills and Requirements

    • 10+ years of experience working within environmental sciences as an Environmental Engineer, Environmental Scientist, Geologist or Geoscientist

    • BS in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Biology, or equivalent

    • Expertise in site investigations and remediation, with emphasis on abandoned mine sites

    • Previous experience working with the United States Forest Service (USFS); United States Department of the Interior (USDOI); Bureau of Land Management (BLM); National Park Service (NPS)

    • Experience with RCRA/CERCLA and state environmental regulations - P.E. or P.G. Licensure null
