  • An Architecture and Interior Design firm in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Senior Interior Designer to their team!

    Job Description

    • Collaborate with Project Managers and Architects to perform interior design assignments including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation

    • Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment, color palettes and lighting

    • Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction

    • Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts

    • Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators

    • Will be working on a variety of projects

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent required

    • 5 or more years of professional experience

    • Experience putting together client presentations, FF&E and mood boards

    • Must be able to produce construction drawings

    • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit is a plus

    • Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite is required
