    Job Summary

    Software full stack developer at Nightwing CODEX t he candidate will provide work with a team of developers to provide system engineering support for an analytic application, to include the following:

    System support

    • Daily system monitoring, health and status reporting, troubleshooting

    • Perform system maintenance and tech debt type system tasks

    • Collect reliability metrics

    • Collect user, application, system metrics

    Automation

    • Assist with automated testing, to include scripting

    • Help improve deployment automation

    Candidate will also provide system engineering support for agile development cycles to include: assisting with estimation, sprint deliverables, release notes, and monthly status reports. Other system engineering duties include requirements analysis, test case documentation including acceptance criteria for compliance certifications, STE/STN requirements, customer requirements, and long-term transition and decommissioning activities.

    Basic Qualifications

    Typically requires Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

    Four (4) years' of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

    Technical skills: Java, latest Javascript: ES6, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, Webpack, Maven, Spring Boot, Tomcat, MongoDB, Docker, AWS

    Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date.

    U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Desired Skills : 3 or more of the following desired skills

    Experience with technical leadership

    Understanding of OS Internals (i.e. Windo)

    Experience with Vulnerability Research

    Experience reading or writing assembly (x86, x64, ARM, PPC, MIPS, SPARC, 68k, or others)

    Experience developing embedded systems

    Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP stacks, wire-level protocols, RF communications, BGP, routing protocols, or others).

    Understanding of exploit mitigations such as DEP and ASLR

    Experience using reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, HexRays, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, or objdump.

    Experience using debuggers such as gdb, WinDbg, OllyDbg

    Experience with BDI/JTAG

    Experience with modern C++ development, such as RAII, C++11 and C++14.

    Experience building and using tools to find, exploit, and productize vulnerabilities in complex software systems

    Experience with: React, REST Services, Neo4j, Cypher, Material UI, Typescript

    Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

    The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
