Tax Litigation Attorney

Description

Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic Florida law firm that is seeking a tax litigation attorney with 4+ years' experience for its Ft. Lauderdale office. Base salary up to $160,000 plus bonus, full benefits, and 401k match. Remote flexibility provided.

Responsibilities include

• Handling matters from initial audit notices (Form DR-840) through tax controversy.

• Attending hearings in Administrative Court and The Division of Administrative Hearings

• Making presentations during appeals and leveraging accounting firm backgrounds for a comprehensive approach.

Requirements

Successful candidates will have a background in state and local sales tax, with prior experience in FL Department of Revenue proceedings and sales tax litigation.

J.D. and a Member of the Florida Bar

Accounting Firm background preferred.

If coming from a commercial litigation background, will train on the tax side of the business.
