Tax Manager - Public

Description Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client seeking a Tax Manager. This Tax Manager will possess expertise in various types of tax returns and financial statements, along with proficiency in Excel and tax software and technology. How you will make an impact

• Assemble and analyze complicated income tax returns- Assist in quality control review for all financial statements

• Assist in the review and oversight of the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments

• Assist in planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns

• Assist in the review of the calculation and distribution of W-2s and 1099s

• Determine tax best business practices and relay to staff accountants and accounting managers

• Put together and analyze tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits

• Review and provide oversight for quarterly and annual payroll tax returns

• Assist with compliance with financial and tax reporting policies and procedures Requirements - 2+ years of supervisory experience

• Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

• 5-7 years' experience in tax accounting

• CPA preferred
