    About the role

    We seek a customer-focused Vice President with a strong network in the food retail channel to lead the Direct to Retail Channel comprised of traditional food retail chains, Specialty Food chains, Warehouse Clubs, and on-line retail. It is Kerrys expectation and goal that the VP will successfully execute the role, and the candidate must have significant experience in developing and building business with a variety of food retail companies who operate manufacturing facilities or commissaries, and produce products in their stores, using premier ingredients

    Key responsibilities

    Contribute and work effectively as part of Kerry North Americas Senior Management team to deliver the agreed Annual Business Plan targets

    Have C-Suite Level relationship with key retail clients.

    Maintain and continue to build and grow a high performing business development and sales team

    Play a key role in the development, implementation, and achievement of annual budgets

    Work cross-functionally (operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance) to ensure customer performance goals are met.

    Travel requirements: 60% initially, moderating to 40-50%

    Qualifications and skills

    BS Degree in Business or related field---MBA highly preferred. Minimum 15 years experience with progressive responsibilities in a food ingredients business (taste & nutrition, flavors, or functional ingredients, preferred), and a minimum of 8 years in commercial management roles working with food retailers and food manufacturers.

    Has strong and current high level relationships with key decision makers at target customers.

    Actively grown a business organically through new customer acquisition and customer penetration

    Experience with successful acquisitions

    Actively participated in new product development

    Experience in a matrix organizational structure in a complex multi-national company

    Success in developing high-performing teams and positive work culture
